Anti-Wrinkle
Although wrinkles and fine lines are a natural and normal part of the ageing process, the process can be accelerated by factors such as sun exposure, lifestyle and genetics. Botulinum toxin or anti-wrinkle injections treat both dynamic lines (facial lines seen when moving/expressing) and static lines (facial lines seen at rest).
Anti-wrinkle injections block the nerve impulses that cause muscle contractions. This causes the muscle to temporarily weaken which then stops dynamic lines from becoming noticeable, and also stops new static lines from forming. The treated area becomes noticeably softer and smoother in appearance. It is a minimally invasive treatment, usually administered with a few small injections and lasts under ten minutes for an average treatment.
Results are usually noticeable within a few days; however, it can take up to 14 days for the treatment to take effect. Results can last up to 3-4 months, and we recommend rebooking in for maintenance treatments during this time.
